Three Things 44/52

Hello......... it's year of happy time again, so here are this weeks three things.

Number one:

Number one this week is this little Lego me, that my nephew made, when he went to The Lego Store during half term, 'L' and my sister fashioned a little Lego Clare. Right down to choosing the shorter Lego legs !! as 'L' said 'well you are short Auntie Clare' I even have my own guitar although in real life mines a acoustic.

Number two:

My second happy this week are these lovely tulips, I just love the colours just a little bit of Springtime. Although currently they are not as they are in this picture, they've done that bendy wonky crazy tulip thing, but are still as beautiful.

Number three:

My third thing this week, is new craft supplies always destined to put a smile on my face.  This is some 100% wool felt for the woolly wood project.  Just looking at them I realise how Eastery the colours look and that my favourite time of year will soon be upon us.

Inside the parcel was not only my felt but a little paper parcel too!!
so exciting.

Inside the little parcel was a little swatch selection of blues with some very pretty floss too. Such a lovely surprise. This little parcel from 'the haberdashery
did put a smile on my face.

Plus as a added extra this week lookie lookie the mini Iris are finally in bloom.

Before I go I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who's been popping by and for all the lovely comments that have been left. I really to love to read them.

I'm struggling at the moment with my health and I'm about to start a new' pacing program' to help manage my energy levels, (for example I would do ten minutes of activity, then it will be complete rest for 30-60 minutes, that will be the hard part as rest means REST no mental or physical activity just lying there resting, so no music no TV, nothing eek with my baseline of 1hour 20minutes of actvity for the whole day that's a lot of hours of nothing resting ).

It was recommended by the consultant I saw a couple of weeks ago. It's the program they used at the hospitals CFS service and it's a lot stricter than the pacing program that was set up for me locally so I might not be around so much for a little while. I'm still going to keep posting on my blog but it might not be as often and I  will try and pop by and visit every ones lovely blogs too,  but I'll just have to see how I go. As hopefully I'm also going to be starting antiviral therapy too.

Well that's all the happy for this week, I hope you are enjoying the weekend

Clare xx

  4. Hello lovely, I am finally getting around to catching up on blogreading. Firstly thank you so very much for the nomination, you are so very kind, I feel a little overwhelmed by it. I will try and get around to dealing with it some point during next week. It seems that you have been busy with some wonderful things and I am loving the Lego Clare, fabulous!!! You also have some gorgeous looking felt there, I look forward to see what you make with this. I just wanted to say that you are such a sweet friend and I really value all the time and effort you put into our relationship, thank you!! I am sending a big and healing hug your way xoxo

  5. What a lovely spring like post and I really hope with your new programme of pacing that it puts a spring into your step.

I have a knee problem which just seems to lurch from bad to worse and the longer it goes on the more frustrated I get especially as I have to really think about what and when I expend the little weightbearing I can manage. I know our conditions are not the same but I suspect neither of us are good at being patient patients as our physical limitations versus our mental expectations are very poorly matched. Good luck, with the pacing and I hope when you are able to post that things will be improving. Take care and be gentle with yourself.

  9. The lego you is so cooooool! I want one. They are so great how all their faces are different etc. Tulips(and the jug) are gorgeous. I love the colours.
Good luck with the pacing. I really hope it works. Don't worry about blogging, we will all be here waiting to hear how you are getting on. As a sufferer of severe illnesses myself I understand how difficult the road to improvement can be, sometimes made more exhausting if it doesn't run very smoothly so I am sending you all my love and well wishes xxx

  11. Dear Clare good luck with your new programme - I know it will be so tough as it's always so tempting to do a little bit more. I will be thinking of you especially when I am resting as I'm having to really increase my rest periods at the moment. Take care x
