Year of Art (ish)

January

At the beginning of 2014 I made a resolution to try and do more Art, I'm no great artist but it's something I enjoy, here are the pictures I created over the year (ish)

February

March

April

May

June

July (ish)

I only had the available energy for a spot of colouring.

August

September (ish)

Colouring books again.

October (ish)

Due to my poor health I was only able to share some old pictures

 November (ish)

yet again a throwback.

December

I finally managed something, just a colour pencil doodle, but it counts, after the past few months I have had.

So all in all not a entire failure, for sure I had a few bad months, as it's been a tumultuous year health wise for me, but I think it fair to say, making this resolution was a positive thing for sure I did more art throughout the year than I have over the past few years.  Even if some months I had to cheat a little.

At least I had fun along the way, who knows some day hopefully I'll be well enough to take a real Art Class.

Happy Crafting

Clare xx

  3. I love the one with the birds on the branch. Their little faces are perfect! It is hard enough to get in the mood to draw but with your health problems I can only imagine. I think you had a wonderful year with what you accomplished. Good luck with your health in the coming year :)

  5. Not a failure by ANY stretch of the imagination, you are far too hard on yourself, you've done loads and they are all really lovely. I think you are especially good at flowers, I love February garden wreath, and the flowers with the birds. And also the bridges and ponds, reminiscent of Monet ? Keep doodling my friend :)

  6. A very good collection of drawings and paintings I think!! I love the heart of flowers, I remember you creating that one and I liked it then and still like it now! The London Skyline is great too. I hope that if you want to you can keep going in 2015 as you are obviously good at it! xx
