Wintertime Wreath: The big Ta-Dah moment...

Hello lovelies......... So it time, 'bounces up and down excitedly', (at this rate of excitement, I won't make it to Christmas) the wreath is finally finished, three months in the making and we have got to the grand Ta-Dah post.
So hold onto you're hats here goes.......

Yesterday was spent putting the final touches to things, sewing on the pompom Holly berries, yes in the end I plumped for the bright Red of the pompoms instead of the more sedate beads as the colour of them just popped more on the wreath.

Then adding a last minute addition of some twinkly teal coloured Swarovski crystals to the lacy snowflake stars.

It was finally time to grab the box of pins and get creative, having some fun putting this little lot together .....

So now you have to promise me you'll  resist scrolling down to the very bottom of this post to see the finished wreath Ta-DAh  as I'm going to take you on a sedate trip around the wreath starting top right.

I'm know I'm a meanie, so if you really must you can scroll down quickly!!  but please then come back for the tour around the wreath.

The above picture is the top right of the wreath

Then the bottom right with it cute little birdie

The lower centre with the 'Cute and Easy' Crochet Rose centrepiece with teal baubles and ribbon yep I forgot to tell you but I added some teal and silver baubles to the wreath too.

Here's the bottom Left, I just love the winteriness of this shot.

Top left with one of the cute ribbon flowers

and finally the top, with it's star centre.

So we are very nearly there, just one last look at the cute felt birdie and glittery star,
so are you ready? here goes....

Ta-Dah
my completed Wintertime Wreath

I hope you like it, I'm know it's not in the most traditional colours
But I do love all the icy blues, teals and silvers together.

As with the 'Springtime Wreath' I pinned everything on to the wreath using beads, buttons and crystals in between the pins for effect.  It's been so much fun making the wreath, I think it's a bit addictive this wreath making as now I think I need to make wreaths for the other two seasons but for now it's time to stand back and gaze for a while and think, wow I really did it, I made that.

Linking up with KCCO
and Yarning Along  with Ginny, this week I still enjoying reading 'The Colour' by Rose Tremane.

Before I go I just want to say a huge thank you to Lucy over at 'attic 24' as a lot of the patterns used to make the wreath came from her wonderful tutorials.
Happy Crafting
Clare xx
