Valentine garland


Hello...... What a week it has been here at the Summerhouse, more on that another time, but needless to say it's been a bit hectic round here, so I got some what behind with this make, but never mind that as I've finished it in the nick of time.

So a very Happy Valentines day to you.


I started to make this cute little garland a couple of weeks ago ready for Valentines day. I used the fab Attic 24 Teeny Tiny Heart pattern which you can find 'here'


Some of the hearts I altered a bit by adding a second colour to the outer round and I finished them off at the top slightly differently from the pattern. I used lots of pastel shade of Stylecraft Special DK from my stash.


Then stitched them onto cotton thread, I also threaded some pastel beads in between the hearts in pinks blues and mauve's.


Ta Dah
Here they all are ready to be hung on the mantle 


With the poor light plus the rush job to get them finished the photo aren't so great


but hopefully you get idea.

    What a sweet garland. I'm practicing different heart patterns tonight and yours are lovely especially as they are in my all-time favourite colours.
