It's craft round up time again, the weeks just seem to be just flying by here. No paper crafts again this month, with my current relapse, I'm mostly stuck in bed, so I have not ventured to the Summerhouse (where all the card making materials are) for weeks now. It's my Mum's birthday this week but I've just not be well enough to make her a card this year.
As you can see there has been lots of yarniness going on, lots of crochet and a bit of knitting. I'm still working on my purple leave cushion and have been playing around with ideas for my wintertime wreath.
September also saw me start learning a new craft, embroidery with Chrissie's stitch along Sundays. It's something I've always wanted to try and this was just the incentive I needed. Hopefully by the next craft round up I'll have finished my first square containing a cherry tree.
As you can see Merli has been out enjoying the Indian Summer that been occurring over the last week or so. He still manages to spend plenty of time snuggled up in the bed with me too, with his very important role as crafting assistant, today he was exploring the fun you can have with a tape measure.
I'm still reading 'Cloud Atlas' but have not really got much further with it this past week.
As for the upcoming month, I'm planning on continuing exploring the wonderful world of embroidery and crocheting lots of bits for my wintertime wreath and also hopefully I'll be starting to feel a bit better again. I've also started a stash busting project today that I'll tell you all about another time.
