It's year of happy time again, it doesn't seem five minutes since the last one, but hey ho here are this weeks 'three things'. They are all associated with our few days away, a celebration of spending time with friends and family, getting out and about, after a few weeks of being housebound and having a bit of a adventure and some fun along the way, Sounds like a pretty near perfect week to me.
Number one :
It's hard to pick something from all the out and about stuff we got up to, but going to the Blue Pool in Dorset had to make it into my top three this week. My lovely sister bless her heart pushed me in the wheelchair all the way around the pool on very sandy grown. I love it there so much it's so beautiful and quiet, it's lovely just to sit and listen to the birdsong.
Number two:
Is this, it's a tramper, and it makes this weeks year of happy post because it enabled me to get out into the woods independently. With me on the tramper, and my nephew 'L' on a mountain bike we went on a bit of a adventure, a 2 mile woodland trail, with a map reading involved eek. I don't really go many places independently these days, so this was amazing. Until this year I couldn't tell you the last time I'd been to the woods, but with more and more of these machine about, it's great as less able bodied people can get out to nature. I'll tell you more about what we got up to another day.
Number three:
Is this pretty butterfly garland I bought while we were at the Blue Pool, isn't it sweet? It's not only been making me happy. Merlin my cat has been having some fun too!!! since we hung it up.
I hope you've all had a happy week
Clare xx
I much prefer the butterflies to the spider! Have a lovely weekend. Julie x
ReplyDeleteThree very wonderful, happy things. Thank you for sharing - I always find the woods give me a sense of calm like no other place, you must feel so deeply happy to be venturing there again! Chrissie x
ReplyDeleteI'm with Julie on the spider vs butterfly pics! Lovely happy things, and your adventure on the trampler sounds fab - looking forward to hearing more about it.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you :-)
