Hello..... just popping in to wave and say hello, I'm back after a wonderful weekend in Dorset. I'll post all about my trip in a day or so when I've rested up a bit, but for now here's last week 'year of happy post'.
Number one :
You may remember a few weeks ago I posted about attempting to make these owlie mits, well it all went horribly wrong again, with my woeful knitting abilities, so I had a little hissy fit and decided to quit, the pattern was beyond me.
Fortunately a lovely friend offered to knit them up for me. I have met so many talented friends through the Internet, so I popped my yarn and pattern in the post, with a little thank you gift 'here' and in no time at all, last week my completed Owlie Mits were dropped off by the postie. So exciting.
It really was very kind of this lovely lady to knit my Mittens up for me, so a big thank you goes out to her, aren't they wonderful.
Number two :
It makes my heart skippy happy seeing all these lovely colourful embroidery threads, I bought a pack of 50 colours online, as a starter palette of floss. As you know I've just started learning to embroider, by joining in with Stitching Sundays over one Chrissie blog. Sadly this week with being away there was no time to do any stitching but this little lot made my heart sing when it arrived in the post.
Number three:
My third thing this week was our wonderful trip away to the New Forrest, we had a very busy but great weekend. I love this part of the world so much, it like being on Safari in the UK!!! with all the animals wandering about. It's such a beautiful part of the country. I even managed to meet up with a friend, I'd met online, we had a lovely lunch together with lots of chatting and laughter.
Well that all the happy for this time, more on my Dorset adventures over the next few days.
Clare xx
