February's Craft Roundup

Just a quick post today, as I been struggling all week with a cold. I thought it might be nice at the end of each month to have a look back at what I've been making. So here's February's, I know I'm running a bit late but I promise I'll try harder at the end of March to post on time. So here are my crafts and makes for February.

Birdie Card

Knitting my leaf cushion (ongoing project)

Indian Glass Bracelet

Yet more knitting, this is for the Spring time project

Stitching little felt birdies, the blue one was a February make.

Crocheting Spring time things for my wreath, a Butterfly

Some Blossoms

Some Anemones

and a  Rose (the one on the left)

Wow now that I've listed them all I'm quite amazed how much I've got done, (other than the jewellery making) with just the 10 minutes a day crafting time I'm allowed on my pacing program.

Just before I go there is time for a sneaky peak at how the Spring time wreath is coming along.

This afternoon I was playing around with layout ideas trying to figure out what flowers I still need to make and it was a relief to see I'm nearly there. I still have a loads of knitting to do to cover the polystyrene wreath, which is a bit of a worry with only ten days to the equinox but I'm going to keep plodding on with it and see how far I get. It's been so much fun making all the colourful flowers, which I guess is why I left the background knitting till last.

Happy Crafting

  1. Oh gorgeous!!....inspiring me to crack on with mine! Just had a go at making some "flowers in the snow", little blue things, very fiddly, but I need some blue to balance out the yellow overload!
